This tender, romantic and risque comedy about love and rites of passage is from the writer of “Coppertail Creek” and won the inaugural RAPA playwriting award.

Carmen, an artist, is a mature woman whose marriage to Steve is in trouble. She finds reassurance in the arms of a young man, Alex, without realising the tangle of relationships around her and the damage she is about to cause.

Trent a struggling sales rep leaves work to care for his dying mum. On a rare respite from his demanding mother he meets Harmony, who is battling to erase the emotional scars of a controlling father and fiance. The Gift is a moving comedy.
