“… a solid story, with all the promise of, say, a Muriel's Wedding. And it's a damn good script, with more than a smattering of well-crafted, affectionate humour. Indeed, I believe it's a musical with all the potential in the world!”
Brad Sykes, 2RRR

We had an overwhelmingly enthusiastic response from audiences and from critics alike. Brad Sykes (2RRR) compared the show to “Strictly Ballroom” and “Muriel’s Wedding” - high praise indeed for an original, home-grown RAPA production, done on the smell of an oliy rag! With 3 original musicals written, developed and produced by RAPA in just 3 years RAPA has proved itself one of the few and perhaps the only theatre company in Australia capable of such a result and we are justifiably proud of our commitment to emerging Australian talent.
